Dale Brown was the speaker for the breakfast and John Pastorek of Channel 2 served as the Master of Ceremonies. Sharon Stickling, the mother of a child who comes to the Center, also spoke at the breakfast. Rev. Chris Andrews gave the opening blessing and 4-year-old Shelby Anders, a McMains Center client, led the Pledge of Allegiance. Wes Devillier served as Table Captain Chairperson, and Tim McFadden served as Sponsorship Chairperson.

The breakfast was a tremendous success, introducing many people to the work of the Center and raising crucial funds at a time when the Centers need is greater than ever. The Center is now a resource for people with disabilities and their families who have been displaced by the hurricane, providing them with supplies and referral services and working with families to schedule their children for therapy. As a result of the breakfast, over $80,000 was pledged over 3 years to support the work of the Center.
