Red Nose Day Big Hit! | 5/5/2006, back
Red Nose Day 2006 raised $33,000 to help support the vital mission of the Center. The 4th Annual Red Nose Day took place on Friday, May 5th in which over eighty companies and organizations participated in wearing red noses, t-shirts, and neckties to help make children laugh and support children with disabilities.
We would like to thank our 2006 sponsors, Action Rehab & Supply, Inc., Albemarle Corporation, BASF Corporation, Citizens Bank & Trust Co., Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., State Farm Insurance, Surgical Specialty Centre, and The Mall at Cortana. We would also like to thank our Honorary Chairperson, Coach Roger Cador and extend a very special thanks to Jeanne Lamy who donated her graphic arts expertise in creating the precious t-shirt design.
The Center hosted a lunch prior to the event for all of the coordinators involved with Red Nose Day. Lunch was provided by On the Border and prizes were given to Michelle Landry with Surgical Specialty Centre for the Coordinators Prize, CeCe Jenkins with Albemarle for the Most Unique Event, and Trimica Johnson with Cingular for the Circle of Friends.
