Re: McMains Children's Developmental Center Annual Christmas Party

On Thursday, December 18th, the Al Azar Grotto sponsored the McMains Children's Developmental Center annual childrens Christmas party. The celebration featured clowns, face painting, balloon animals, Christmas caroling, and even a special visit from Santa Claus himself.

The children each had a chance to sit on Santa Clauss knee and tell him what they wanted for Christmas and to have their picture taken with him. The Al Azar Grotto made it possible for Santa Claus to give special T-shirts to every child. This year 2-year-old Kylee Vickerss drawing of a Christmas tree was chosen to be featured on all of the T-shirts.

The Al Azar Grotto is a group that has supported the Center and children with cerebral palsy for many years.

The McMains Children's Developmental Center is a therapy center for children with cerebral palsy, developmental delays and learning disabilities. The Center is an agency of United Way and an affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy, and has been serving children in our area since 1954.
