Join the Friends of McMains Club to support our mission to help children through financial support. Benefits of club membership include invitations to special events, subscription to our newsletter, and acknowledgement of joining in our next newsletter (if you wish).

McMains Children¹s Developmental Center offers special one-of-a-kind stepping stones. The stepping stones will be made out of stained glass and hand crafted by Cherie Livingston, secretary at the Center. You can purchase or sponsor a stone for $100 each.
The stepping stones come in many designs. A marker will be placed near the stones at the Center to denote who the stones are in honor of, in memory of, or donated by. The stones will make for a beautiful decoration in any garden.

Not all donations to the McMains Center are cash donations. Many people support the Center through:
- Stock donation
- Matching gifts
- Participating in special events
The McMains CDC 5k Run, Walk & Roll will be held on April 21, 2012 at 8 am.
- Donating items on our Wish List
- Our Therapists have a wishlist of their own as well!
Donate your used car, van, truck, boat with a trailer, or recreational vehicle to UCP of Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge LA , seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The proceeds from the sale of our donated vehicles help to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. It's as easy as filling out our online auto donation form.

Old cell phones, used inkjet cartridges, PDA's and Laptops - who knew that electronic waste could be such a profitable and easy fundraiser?
As Baton Rouge's United Cerebral Palsy affiliate, we have a collection box here at the Center from B.C.S. Recycling Specialists for these recycled items. B.C.S. pays the UCP National office $2.50 each for Lexmark & HP empty inkjet cartridges and cell phones, and $10 for laptop computers. Twenty-five percent of the earnings will stay with UCP National while 75% will be sent back to us! If you work at a large company and would prefer having your own collection box, we can arrange for this.
So instead of throwing your old cell phones, inkjet cartridges, PDA's and laptops away, please bring them to the Center and help raise funds for local children. Thank you for your support!
